St. James Economic Development Board
The Economic Development Board is an 18 member volunteer board who sponsors and promotes Economic Development activities. Within a calendar year the Board is active in such activities as resident industry visitations, industry and small business, appreciation activities, business to business trade and monitoringlocal hiringat resident industry. They act in an advisory capacity to the Council on matters involving Economic Development. They support many projects that promote St. James Parish and its businesses in an effort to create a good business enviroment.
