
The purpose of this program is to help residents achieve greater self-suffuciency. Utilizing a mobile computer laboratory that travels to various destinations throughout the parish the program is designed to teach basic computer skills, literacy and general educational development, job skills, readiness, and training to disadvantaged resident. Our primary goal is to help residents improve their employability and attain a better quality of life.

The Mobile Technology Program offers three(3) Training Programs:

Basic Computer Training - Basic Computer Skills (BCS) is a multi-generational computer training course designed to teach enjoyable computer skills to its participants.

General Educational Development (GED) - The GED Preparation program is designed to help residents that have not yet successfully completed high school.

Basic Job Skills & Readiness Training - Job skills and readiness training program is specifically structured to enhance employability, as well as, empower each participant to develop realistic goals
