Emergency Preparedness Logo
The Emergency Preparedness Department's main function is to safely and effectively manage technological and natural disasters. This is done by effectively managing the mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery phases of any incident. Thus, the Parish President has empowered this office to work as a team with parish employees, fire department personnel, emergency medical services, law enforcement (local, state, and federal), industry, hospitals, and the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness and numerous other local, state, and federal agencies, to effectively assist the general public, who after all is our client. For the Emergency Preparedness detailed guide see below.
