The Mobile
Technology Program offers four (4) Training
Programs:

Basic Computer Skills (BCS) is a
multi-generational computer training course designed to teach
employable computer skills to its participants.
Monday & Wednesday - 10:00-12:00 2:00-2:30 |
Participants learn:
Basic Operating System Usage
Microsoft Word
Internet |

General Educational
Development (GED) Preparation |
|
The GED Preparation program is
designed to help any adult that has not yet
successfully completed high school.
Each computer on the Mobile Technology Lab is equipped with
software to take students from pre-testing to curriculum
instruction to post-testing |

Certified Nursing
Assistant (CNA) |
|
In partnership with the RiverLands
Healthcare Center, the Mobile Technology Program provides training
to those seeking their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The CNA program offers both classroom and clinical training to
participants interested in pursuing a Nursing Assistant
Certification.
Participants will go through a
rigorous training program that will prepare them to take the
Louisiana State CNA Certification exam. |

The purpose of the Basic Job Skills
& Readiness Training Program is to improve a citizen’s ability to
become and remain self-sufficient.
As a result, job skills and readiness
training program is specifically structured to enhance
employability, as well as, empower each participant to develop
realistic goals. |
