St. James Parish Girls Softball - Lutcher Girls Fastpitch

• Children ages 5 to 13 are eligible to play with the program. Girls must be 5 by January 1 of the concurrent year.
• The registration fee is $30 for one child and $50 for two children.
• The Registration Form (PDF) and fee must be brought to the St. James Parish Fitness Center or St. James Parish Utilities office on the West Bank, within the registration period. Cash or check payments only.
• The fee provides the children with a full uniform. The St. James Parish Recreation Department provides the equipment. The child must have his own glove, cleats, and helmet.
• Lutcher Girls Fastpitch plays in the Tri-Parish Girls Softball League against teams from Reserve, Larayo, and Longview Recreations. Home games are played at Lutcher Park.

Important Dates

• League Registration: Mid-February through beginning of March
• Practice Begins: Beginning of April
• Opening Tournament: 3rd weekend in May
• League Games: Every Monday and Wednesday in late May through June
• Closing Tournament: 1st week of July
